TLG is a specialized team of real estate experts with extensive experience in disposition and consulting services for land-based real assets. We are unique in our ability to offer a comprehensive understanding of complex agricultural, energy and development properties while leveraging the resources provided by a global platform with a track record of success.

Although we are based in Southern California, our primary focus on property type rather than location has allowed us to provide our clients with invaluable services for a wide spectrum of properties throughout California, the United States, and the world. Our team works in concert with both C&W’s National Land Practice Group and global brokerage network, as well as with outside brokers who have in-depth market knowledge. TLG also works closely with C&W’s Agribusiness, Natural Resources & Energy Valuation & Advisory Practice Group.

Terry Jackson

Terry Jackson is an Director with C&W. With over 29 years of experience in commercial real estate, Mr. Jackson’s responsibilities have included both producer and management roles having served as Manager of the Escondido and Temecula offices as well as anONCOR International Manager for Burnham Real Estate.

Mr. Jackson’s primary focus is land and investment opportunities, with a concentration on the sale of improved properties and land parcels for investment and development. He provides consulting services for entitlement acquisition and retention; site selection and acquisition; and plan processing. Mr. Jackson has a strong knowledge of real estate regulations from general plan law, zoning regulations and ordinances, to the Subdivision Map Act and CEQA. He is a charter member of the Energy & Clean Technology Group at C&W and has experience with utility scale solar and wind development.

His clients have included both private and public sector entities such as Eli Lilly and Company, San Diego Gas & Electric, Pacific Western Bank, H.G. Fenton Company, Toyota of Escondido, Rincon del Diablo Municipal Water District, City Mark Development, New Urban West Inc., Soitec, Calpeak Power and Diamond Generating Corporation.

Mr. Jackson attended the New York Institute of Technology. He is a member and past chairman of the Escondido Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Board of Management for the Palomar Family YMCA and a member of the Board of Management for the Palomar Family YMCA.

Curtis Buono

Curtis Buono began his real estate career in 2002 and has established himself as one of the brightest minds in the field. Mr. Buono has accrued an extensive knowledge of all property types through many successful years as a real estate professional. Using his ability to quickly interpret changing markets and find solutions for even the most complex properties, Curtis has consulted on hundreds of properties throughout California and the United States.

During his tenure at Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Buono has focused almost exclusively on performing brokerage, consulting, and valuation services for agricultural assets including irrigated row crop operations, permanent plantings, vineyards and wineries, cattle and equestrian ranches, conservation and mitigation lands, nurseries and greenhouses, and water infrastructure projects. He has also assisted clients with a wide array of complex natural resource and development land projects.

Mr. Buono graduated from The University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce. In his free time, he enjoys rock climbing, hiking, snowboarding, and motorsports.

Matt Davis

Matthew Davis is an Associate Director with Cushman & Wakefield. With over 6 years of Experience in Commercial Real Estate, Mr. Davis’ primary role has been that of a producer, with a focus on assisting investors, developers and users of commercial real estate in the acquisition, retention and disposition of their real estate assets.

Mr. Davis’ specialty is the Sale of Land and Investment properties with a concentration on Agriculture, Development and Utilities Scale Energy projects. His strategic approach to each assignment has allowed him to out perform expectations on even the most difficult assets and transactions.

Mr. Davis graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate from San Diego State University. He is currently pursuing a CCIM designation and LEED accreditation from the US Green Building Council to further his education and provide an even higher level of service to his clients.

Mr. Davis is an avid ultrarunner, volunteers annually at a local Junior Olympics event and is a strong advocate for youth health and fitness.
